Direct Mail Marketing Is Alive and Well.



Direct mail advertising is not disappearing from marketing because of online marketing. Direct mail is still alive and well. In 2009 direct mail did $44.4 billion and in 2010 direct mail will actually increase $45.5 billion based on its study from the Direct Marketing Association. Also from its study that non-catalog direct mail returned $15.22 for every dollar spent. in 2009. In comparison to email marketing which thought to be bigger and better actually drove fewer sales than most marketing channels.

You still need every marketing channel to increase sales and brand awareness. So when you think it is not working take a look at what you are doing and test. You should always test because there is always room for improvement.
